What a tremendous loss. It's hard to even quantify how much Toriyama influenced and shaped not only the art world, but culture as a whole.
I loved watching the anime, but I also own the menga too. I read the Buu saga every few years (I actually just re-read it last month).
Like many other artists, Akira Toriyama inspired me as a child and influenced a lot of my art. And I do believe Toriyama still influences me today. Sadly, I don't have many finished pieces featuring 'Dragon Ball', but my old sketch pads are littered with the stuff, or OCs that are just cheap DBZ knockoffs lol.

All things have an end, that's just the part of it, my fist experienced with his work was Dr. Slump, I loved it.

Dr. Slump is very good. The older I get the more I like the older stuff like Dragon Ball and Slump.
