I've been doing well, still adjusting to not being an internet troll. As I mentioned I lost my Deathink twitter because of a false flag. Twitter is so shit it's been way over a month and still no word on my appeal. Honestly though, that places makes me go hollow, so it's been nice getting out of the loop.

I did however get a new account, and a new instagram (I lost my insta because of a bug the same week as my twitter lol). I only use them to post my art now, however, Newgroudns is by far the best place to see my finished work. Still, I'll drop the links below if you are interested in following 'em.

Losing my twitted didn't even bother me, I kinda hate that place, or at least I hated that account (I do miss having the deathink handle, but at least one one else can get it). But thinking about rebuilding my insta kinda bums me out.

I'm going to start to lean more on my Patreon more.

It would just be nice to have a less public place where I can share stuff and talk with supporters. Not 100% sure what I will be doing there yet, but I have some ideas.

As far as work, I've been writing a real lot. I have some more bigger art pieces coming out soon. However, I can't stop thinking about making games... like I think about it constantly. I even mentioned something to a very talented programmer you all know. Who knows? Maybe after I finish this story. Would also be fun to make a small flash game.

Also, YO FNF got 9 million views? Rad af!

You used to be an Internet troll?! :O What have I been missing... good to hear the social media way's looking wiser though. Patreon does seem like a good alternative too. A bit more intimate; true.

Also dope tribal-like design with that shirt. Need more psychedelic zebra patterns; patterns overall; frames in addition to motives. I'm suddenly made very aware of how lacking this type of design currently is and how shirt designs in particular tend to have a smaller motive that sort of merges/pops out of the background itself, but back in the day you could get shirts that were covered entirely, so crazy detail-rich texture art... whatever happened to that stuff! Bringing it back a bit here.

And that FNF hype really is CRAZY. ninjamuffin99 suddenly with twice as many followers as even you?! Should be up at TomFulp level in a minute. Wonder if there's ever been a user to gain follows this quickly here.

Never on Newgrounds, but I've almost always been a troll on twitter. However, I've packed up my trolling ways. I just want to focus on those I like now. As far as shirt designs go, I plan to release more clothing more frequently, but I really want to not hold back at all.

I was going to release a shirt last year that said FUCK on it, and I was dissuaded not to because it would kill any hope of sales (in truth I was already on the fence about the over all design anyway). But I will never take sales into consideration while producing a designs ever again. I operate outside the boundaries of the mainstream. However, I don't want to be edgy for edgys sake either. It's a difficult balancing act, but something I can manage if I just be true to myself.

Also, I'm thinking of opening a different shop all together for stuff that is just some fun stuff I make. idk yet

Ah, they got what they deserved then huh. :) I think I might've stuck around Twitter more if I hadn't signed up back when it was just about posting blurb abouts what you were currently doing, stayed for unreasonably long; the sense of purposelessness grew with each status update. Initial bias seems to have stuck somehow.

Hmmm so the FUCK shirt basically just didn't have a good enough design; that was the decisive factor in not putting it out? Sounds like one that might've sold a ton, though I wonder who'd actually actively wield such profanity for real... seems like whatever you like though people are bound to like too. Maybe it just so happens it's actually also a good business move to opt for artistic integrity in the long run. ;) Make a name for art that never looks the same; never looks plain; never's just a name. Underground till underground's the new mainstream vein! ...even if that's not the initial goal now; the goals actually to stay away from such a stay. Just feels like people who stay true to themselves are also the ones who eventually really succeed. Maybe that's a facade though. Maybe it just seems they are; lucrative creative business is always an illusion of personality...

Sounds intriguing. Doodles and such? Material items of varied sorts?

A lot of different material items. Thanks that are not exactly "deathink" items, but things I want to make regardless. For instance, I wanted to make a BB pin (BB from death stranding). But I didn't because, it really had nothing to do with me, but I still wanted it. Stuff like that I guess. Just stuff I wanted to make for fun, not really for artistic merret.

success is good, but the idea of making something with mass appeal in mind or changing to accommodate mass appeal sounds so depressing for me. I see nothign wrong with people doing it, just when I do it, it depresses me. I think you can be successful (make it big) and still not compromise, but it's going to take a lot more work, time and skill. I don't mind.

Aha! I personally always have seen a bit of wrong with people selling out. Not in their becoming successful per se, if they work for it they deserve the reward, but in intentionally changing who they are as to better adapt to the public appeal... of course that's difficult to judge from an outside perspective. Everyone needs to reinvent themselves occasionally, and if their artistic will happens to go along with whatever's poppin' and all that's dandy but... sometimes the change seems more one of desperation, or just wanting too much to cater to others, or if there's no fame involved already then of course attempting to sell. Commonly seen with formerly SFW artists going NSFW, though it sometimes seems to be against their ideals, or style, or integrity... it's sad to see if so. True artists should be (I believe) both rad but free. But I shan't diminish the goodwill of success I guess, whatever the way to get there We all need to make a living after all.

Mmm. Do think the time and effort requirement for making it big without compromising is probably usually way heftier, but in the end hopefully not just all the more gratifying personally but all the more monetarily rewarding. Feels like the essence of art. You can't compromise creative freedom. A commission just doesn't seem like it'll ever have the same depth as something that's personal to the creator.

Not that everything needs to be deep and intense either. Ah. There's no one way to come to terms with anything really. Mysterious are the ways of these her endeavor levers...

"is it more rewarding" I don't know, and at this point it's kind of out of my hands. Compromising = Depression, for me. I hope it will be much more rewarding for me, but it's no longer a factor. I just want to make great stuff, and I believe as long as I work really really hard and smart, I will succeed. It's hard to explain without sounding like a crazy person, but I'm operating on some other plain of existence that I can't easily describe. Madness, maybe? But my madness is everyone's reward.

Hmm, seems we're on the same page here, albeit with maybe a different perspective as to what said page entails, reading from differing angles and all. IOW saying the same thing with different words. :) That's the way. Good art requires a little madness too I think...

Maybe not just art. Need a little crazy to survive in this crazy world overall.

NG is the only place I see your art (I don't have Insta or Twitter, and I hear Insta is good only for art sooo...)
Shirt looks really cool. The b&w photo has great editing too (with the strange code and white scratch out)
