I've noticed that the lines are slightly thicker in the Simpsons version than the original version; was this a conscious choice of trying to blend the two styles, or was that just the result?
Also, I dig the colored version; makes me miss when the Simpsons used that kind of color palette.
I think its because my was drawn at a much smaller scale than I believe they did, so this was the smallest pen I had. And at points it looks like they were using a NIB pen and I lost my nib pens the last time I moved.
The the original palette was super nice.
