I love the details you used in this game, it's just a great homage, like I mentioned once. I can't prove it, but I'm 90% sure that Miyamoto himself would like that!
My highest respect for the difficulty level you choose, that's kind of brave in my eyes, I guess some users who never played the original game gave you same harsh comments or rage quit... :/

Nevermind... Got an idea, and tried it. Got the medal. Had to waste the spare 999 rupee's I made while trying to get high scores in the first place. XD Lol.
