Respect. :) I've been off everything but NG for years at this point. Except my own site then. No plans on start your own little portfilio/potential community on the side? Ultimate control and all; no creative limitations; no functional limitations; no sacrificing integrity for nothin' or interactin' with anyone unless you actually implement such a feature? Feels pretty good to actually be self-reliant in some regard. Though of course: people flock to the communities, even NG, so if you really want to reach people...
Anyway, it's awesome there are artists like you out there though who just don't buy into the common schemes and stick to the realest scenes. Though personally I do get my fair share of dopamine off of NG, wish I wouldn't mind being without, but at least there's no need for alternatives.
I left twitter a while ago too man so I understand. This place is definitely a lot better than other SS since all the others think that a stigma MUST be followed (cough cough twitter)
