I'm a big fan of pixel art, and a large amount of my games feature pixel art. It has gotten a bad wrap as of late by dull minded individuals who can't appreciate it for the complex, abstract art form that is truly is. Someday we will look back on it as a classic art form in a similar category as impressionism. We are the first generation to use and create pixel art, which offers us a rare opportunity to pioneer techniques and become it's original masters.
