★★Inktober 2015★★

So everyone is making things for inktober. I am super busy trying to finish a small game, so I don't have any time to make anything new, however, all my (well except my digital paintings) are hand drawn with traditional ink on paper (DEATHINK).

So I figured I would upload some of my black and white line work to the internet. You can click the link to see the colored version.

This first one is from my latest picture 1,000,000 Art Portal Views!!

This next one was titled RicePirate, I made it for Mick's birthday one year.

This one called Porkchops and Bacon was made for the Darkest Dungeon art contest.

And finally this last one was a commison for Shadman He pretty much just said "draw whatever you want in that style you like to do" best commision request ever!!! haha.

Awesome inks!!! Question... Our Inktober link in the header currently goes to tag results from this month ranked by score. So people see "the best" of what has been uploaded. Problem is, every time I click it, I'm seeing mostly the same... Think we should default to sorted by date, so more people get exposure in general?

At first that seemed like a tough call because good stuff might get pushed to the back, but I just tried checking the "Sort by date" and it looks like a lot of the good stuff right on the top.

Can you one day like make a video showing your inking process? I've been inking for a while, since I was in seventh grade(currently in Tenth), but I've always been curious what other artists use(pen type, or brush, etc.). Also how do you add detail in that manner? Do you draw them as lines first or as shapes? Those withered lines and ragged textures of the cloth and such. Though that is part of your style. Could you give me an overview, as brief as you like, but it's all cool.

I don't think I am ever going to make a video of my process. It's hard enough uploading line art, in fact this is the first time I have ever uploaded full line art images.
Drawling is a very personal thing to me. The fact that I even show anyone who is not close to me is still something I am trying to get over.
As for tools, I use a lot of different stuff, and it changes from picture to picture. I use mechanical pens sometimes, sometimes brushes. Anything that will help me get the job done.
Just don't get discouraged and draw things that you like (and in the way you like to draw them) no matter what you think others might say.
